We operate at the intersection of technology and customers, working closely with our Engineering teams to help make workforce compliance easy for the YC community.  We’ve grown rapidly in the last two years, and we’re only just getting started.

This is an opportunity for someone who excels in building long term, strategic commercial relationships with our existing and emerging channel partners. Our core partners are professional services firms - law and accounting firms - and we’re looking to build and strengthen relationships with industry bodies. We’re looking for someone excited to join the team as our first dedicated Partnerships Lead, driving the next stage in our growth.

A little about the role:

  • Working closely with our MD and Head of Customer & Growth to build and execute our channel partner strategy, driving revenue and building strategic relationships.
  • Retain, grow, and diversify the value delivered to our partners, ultimately growing revenue as a result.
  • Identifying and commercialising new partnership opportunities.
  • Developing a deep understanding of our partners and their key stakeholders, the market, and industry developments.
  • Advocating internally for the solutions needed to drive business outcomes for our partners and their stakeholders, working with the Data, Development, and Operations teams.

A little about you:

  • Strong sales and partnerships experience in a business-to-business environment; bonus points if your experience is with professional service firms.
  • Commercially minded: Experience developing and maintaining commercial relationships and closing strategic sales opportunities with existing and emerging channel partners.
  • Endlessly curious: You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently exploring and uncovering the needs of our customers and partners to understand how YC can make compliance easy.
  • Solution oriented: Proactively engaging customers with a consultative, solution-oriented approach in discovering new opportunities.
  • Tech-savvy: Fundamental understanding of technology and engineering practices, and comfortable communicating technology to a variety of audiences.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Experience in, or enthusiasm to develop a deep knowledge of the workforce compliance and regulatory framework arena, customer pain points, and products.
  • Resilient: A self-starter, you’re comfortable working within a fast-paced, collaborative, startup environment.
